Parque del Amor
A Romantic Viewpoint on the Miraflores Coast
Parque del Amor is one of the most recognisable viewpoints along the Miraflores coast. Set above the cliffs overlooking the Pacific Ocean, the park is known for its colourful mosaic walls, curved benches, sea views and romantic atmosphere.
At the centre of the park is El Beso, a large sculpture of a couple embracing. Together with the ocean backdrop, it has made Parque del Amor a popular place for photographs, sunset walks and quiet moments by the sea.

A Coastal Park with Colour and Character
Parque del Amor has a different feel from many of Lima’s larger parks. It is smaller and more intimate, but full of colour, curves and details.
The mosaic benches and walls give the park a playful, artistic character, while the views across the Pacific make it one of the most memorable stops on the Miraflores Malecón.
The park is often visited by couples, families and travellers walking along the coastal paths. It is also a useful stopping point between other nearby Miraflores attractions, including the Malecón, Larcomar and the cliffside parks.
El Beso and the Ocean View
The most famous feature of Parque del Amor is El Beso, the sculpture at the centre of the park. Its bold form and romantic theme make it one of the most photographed public artworks in Lima.
Behind the sculpture, the cliffs drop towards the Pacific Ocean, creating a dramatic setting. On clear days, visitors can see along the coastline, watch paragliders above the cliffs, or simply enjoy the sound and movement of the sea below.
Visiting Parque del Amor
Parque del Amor is easy to include in a walk through Miraflores. It is especially popular in the late afternoon and around sunset, when the light over the Pacific gives the park a softer and more atmospheric feeling.
The area is generally pleasant for walking, photography and short visits. As with any popular visitor spot, keep an eye on personal belongings, especially when taking photographs or using your phone.
